SPRING is that time of the year when you start preparing yourself to bid your final goodbyes to the harsh (but also lovely) winter season and to welcome the warm and bright sunshine into your lives.

हमारे देश यानि इंडिया में बसंत ऋतू का स्वागत बसंत पंचमी का त्यौहार मना कर किया जाता है।
कल का दिन हमारे भारत देश में बसंत पंचमी का त्यौहार मनाया गया।
Basant Panchami has a specific meaning: Basant means “spring” and Panchami means “the fifth day.”
Basant Panchami falls on the fifth day of spring.

आप सोच रहे होंगे की आज आपको English छोड़कर मौसम और त्योहारों के बारे में क्यों बताया जा रहा है।

When I came to know that Basant Panchami is dedicated to the coming spring season and to goddess Saraswati, THE GODDESS OF LEARNING, I thought why not associate today’s learning with the beautiful spring season.

So, here I have a collection of Spring inspired Idioms. But first,
WHAT ARE IDIOMS?
Idiom यानि मुहावरे का अर्थ है शब्दों का एक ऐसा समूह जिसका शाब्दिक अर्थ उसके वास्तविक अर्थ से अलग होता है।

If you try to translate an idiom according to the words, it won’t make any sense.
Idioms have some specific meanings and are to be used in specific conditions only.
